Your team isn't going to figure out AI on their own.

The tool doesn't solve the problem or win the adoption. People do, once they know why.

That's where we come in: training for your team, an embedded partnership, or a one-off build. All of it grounded in your actual day-to-day reality.

Why us

Why work with us?

TL;DR: We're translators.

What you've probably been pitched

  • ×Fancy tech to solve ALL your problems, from someone who has never managed a crew in their life.
  • ×A new tool your team has to learn, you have to pay for and nobody actually uses.
  • ×Everything called AI, whether it is or not.
  • ×A paid audit.
  • ×An expensive tool you don't know will actually work for your team and your workflows.
  • ×Vibecoders that only get you 80% of the way there.

What we do

  • ✓First and foremost, we are a full, in-house team of operators and developers who have worked and built technology for crews, messy contexts and real humans for decades.
  • ✓We understand your context first.
  • ✓Built on your existing systems, tools and people.
  • ✓We care as much about the experience, design and people as we do about the ROI.
  • ✓We guarantee your team gets time, money or quality of life back.

What happens

It starts with a 30-minute call.

You leave knowing your next step.

01

We learn how your team works today.

Who does what, which tools you pay for, where the hours go.

02

We say where AI and automation actually help.

And where they'd just add noise. Honest on both counts.

03

You leave with a clear next step.

Working with us, working with someone else, or one thing to fix in the next 90 days.

Who this is for

Do you work with my industry?

Yes, if your business runs on people in the field. We have shipped work for drywall contractors, general contractors, stove and hearth companies, and restaurant groups. We are not the right fit for software companies, agencies, or businesses that run entirely on screens.

Is my business too small?

Our workshops and custom builds are built for operators doing $3M+ a year, because that is where a crew, a schedule, and a customer list are big enough for systems to pay for themselves. Under that, start with the AI for Messy Jobs newsletter or a public workshop.

Do you work nationally or just around Tahoe and Reno?

Nationally. We are based in the Tahoe and Reno area and work with operators across the United States. Workshops run in person at your shop or job site, or remotely. Builds run remotely, with on-site time when the work calls for it.

The offers

How long does it take to build?

It depends on whether we are building something to solve a single workflow or a full operating system that integrates 3-5 of your existing tools. Generally, we can get something live in 3-6 weeks.

How much does it cost?

That depends on the complexity and how many systems the build is touching. We are upfront about the costs from the beginning. It is always a fixed, agreed price. No hourly rates. Partner work is priced monthly once scoped. Workshops are priced by length and by how many teams are in the room.

What happens inside an AI Operations Partner engagement?

Your embedded operations partner runs weekly working sessions with your team and leads adoption. Our build team handles the engineering. Once a month, we hold a leadership review with you to check progress, clear blockers, and choose what gets built next.

What is the first step?

Book a call if you are curious and want a read on where AI fits, or if you already know the job and want it scoped. That call is where your price and timeline come from.

The doubts

Is this actually AI, or automation?

Most of what we build is plain automation: reminders, routing, scheduling, data moving between tools without a person retyping it. AI comes in where judgment is needed, like reading a message and deciding what it means. We say which is which, because calling everything AI is how operators pay for the wrong thing.

Will my team actually use it?

Your people are the strategy, so we build with them, on their real work, from the first week. If a crew will not use something, that is the design failing, and we change the design. Adoption is checked before we leave, not promised.

Who owns what you build?

You do. Everything we build runs in your accounts, on tools you pay for. We teach your team to run it, then hand it off with the documentation and the logins. You can stop working with us whenever you want.

What happens after you hand it over?

We document everything, train your team, and name an internal owner with you before we leave. If you want us on call after that, there is an access plan: a Slack line to us for questions and fixes.

Not sure which one fits?

Fifteen minutes on your bottlenecks and where AI actually fits. No pitch.
